Thank you for visiting our website which we hope will provide you an appreciation of the range of Community Safety issues that the team are responsible for in the Ipswich area. The range of issues and challenges is matched only by the breadth of the partnerships we work with to reduce crime, maintain public confidence and help make Ipswich a safe and exciting place to live and work.

We cover such diverse areas as Crime and Disorder, Substance Misuse, anti-social behaviour, the Council's 24/7 Emergency Services Centre, (where the CCTV system, Ipswich HEARS Community Alarm service and out of office hours stand-by service is run), Corporate Health and Safety and Emergency Planning.
